Gulf Conservation Alliance Takes Part in the 2025 Bonefish & Tarpon Trust Symposium
November 7, 2025 — The Gulf Conservation Alliance (GCA) was honored to be represented at this year’s Bonefish & Tarpon Trust Symposium, a gathering that brought together conservation advocates, anglers, scientists, and industry leaders from across the region.
GCA Treasurer Laurence Hall and Board Member Capt. Parker Blalock served as panelists on the Guide Panel, where they shared insights into the Alliance’s mission, ongoing initiatives, and the critical role grassroots engagement plays in coastal conservation. Their contributions helped spotlight the importance of protecting Gulf fisheries and the ecosystems that sustain them.
Also in attendance were Board Member Charlie Madden and Guide Member Chaz Madden, who connected with attendees, distributed educational materials, and answered questions about GCA’s work following the panel discussion.
The Gulf Conservation Alliance extends its gratitude to these dedicated representatives for their commitment to advancing conservation efforts and raising awareness of the organization’s mission. Their involvement helps strengthen GCA’s impact as we continue working to protect and preserve the Gulf’s waters for future generations.
